Heath-Elvehjem-at-Nevermore

Heath Elvehjem is a pianist that creates music about life. It begins in 2006 with the release of Heath’s solo piano recording “Patch Work.” The following year brought two new projects to the table. The first was a return to Heath’s original influences which include artists such as Yanni, David Arkenstone, David Lanz, and a host of other influential musicians on labels such as Windham Hill and Narada.

In December, Heath released “Christmas,” a combination of solo piano and orchestrated carols that highlighted the spirit of the season.

And in 2008, “Soulfire” and “Your Song” brought about some phenomenal changes in the way that Heath composed his work. Finding himself in need of a way to unite his work, Heartspark Music was created to promote the efforts of not only Heath’s recording projects, but those of other artists who create and value quality instrumental music.

Music exists to move people, and it is Heath’s hope that you will be inspired to throw back your head, laugh out loud, dance like no one is watching, love like you’ve never been hurt, and live like it’s your very last day.

Faithfully Yours in Music, as in Life.

The Eva Moon Cocktail: Take one part Bette Midler’s divine chutzpah, one part Fiona Apple’s juice, add a spritz of Winehouse and top with Tori Amos’ flaming hair. Blend in a hot band and stir with a comedy shtick. Mmm, tasty!

Eva Moon & the Lunatics serve up a quirky, high-energy cocktail of pop, jazz, funk and Latin originals. Let her bail you out with a recession-proof show that will make you forget your troubles for an hour. The music is hot and the lyrics are hotter. Nigerian scammers, sexy bankers, Brazilian waxing, mail order vibrators, barista lust. Nothing is off limits. So, send the kids into the next room and uncork something both shaken and stirred.

Vanny Wilder

Posted by Andy J On July - 1 - 2009

Vanny grew up on the Beatles and from their music developed a passion to play the guitar. Eventually forming a band with his brother and cousin, Vanny played every “dive” in Baton Rouge and gained a reputation as the local band who would “rock you till you drop”.

The release of ZZ Top’s album “Deguella” changed Vanny’s perspective on music, causing him to drift towards a style that included adding Blues, Blues Rock and Texas Swing to his musical repertoire.

Vanny’s influences are The Beatles, Stevie Ray Vaughan, ZZ Top and Pink Floyd just to name a few. SecondLife brings a whole
new meaning to “gigging” and we hope you will come rock with us.

Vanny’s review on Thumb Maganize!!

Vanny is also an extremely talented builder and texture maker. Check out his stuff!
