Our theme is the roaring 20’s and 30’s, but dress and items sold here do not have to reflect that. We encourage merchants to sell their own creations, not business in a box or reselling of freebies.

Our goal is to help you succeed on SL, and we will work hard to advertise the shopping area.

We have lucky chairs.

If you would like to donate an item to the lucky chairs it is welcomed and encouraged. Please contact management staff regarding donations to lucky chairs.

Your store is your store, people do not teleport into a telehub, they teleport to the landmark you set directly.
You are encouraged to take out your own classifieds, add to your picks and hand out your landmark in your products and business card.

In order to save your prim count, upon renting, please send your business logo texture to the management staff FULL PERMS so we can add it to your shop sign for you. It will also be used to add to the teleport boards we will be setting up, and in case you donate to the lucky chairs, or other prizes, on the donar rotating board list.

You will be added to the L’Quen Oreben group as soon as possible. If you are not added within a 24 hour period, you will be given 2 days rent free to accomodate the wait.

The Rules:

We encourage originality here at L’Quen Oreben .Products need to be your own creations. No copyright infriged items, no resell freebies, or business in a box items will be allowed unless giving out as a free item. The use of resell items inside a product as an add in (such as a resell hair added to an avatar shape for purchase) is allowable. Using poses and pose balls that are made for resell in an item of your own creation is also ok.

The majority of L’Quen Oreben Staff are known artists in many of the off world artist communities. Copyright infringement will not be tolerated. Your first offense will be a warning to remove the item. Your second offense will be banned with out a refund, and turned in to both Linden Labs and the artist the item was stolen from, with logs of the warnings sent, plus snapshots of the item in violation.

There is a no gambling policy on SL now. We do not advocate and will not tolerate that kind of thing here. If it is found, warning will be given and the issue needs to be corrected. If it is not, you will be evicted, no refunds will happen at that point.

This is an adult community, items of a sexual nature are allowed here; one thing we do not want to see is escorts parading down the streets. In otherwords, no renting a shop to use as a brothel, thank you.

Please respect your neighbors and potential customers by not putting objects outside your store. We do encourage you to place your own lucky chairs and camping chairs. Promote your business!

Things you are allowed to put outside your shop are as follows:
online indicator and flowers and garden items. Dress your shop up if you like to draw customers in using those items listed.

Please respect the prim limit. If you exceed your prim limit, your item will be returned to you by the land lord. Repeated violations
will result in cancellation of the rental agreement with no refund of monies paid.

We can accomodate you if you do find yourself needing extra prims.

Please turn shouting objects off unless you have prior permission to allow the shouting from the staff.

How To Rent:

Right click and select pay on the rental box. Read over this agreement and hit yes to the agreement. We will add you to the group as soon as possible and you can begin to set up your shop.

The rental system is set to notify you 5 days before your lease expires and if you are over your prim limit.

• You receive one free week on starting your lease.
• Recommend our shop rentals to someone who tells us you recommended them and they rent a shop, you will get a free week of rent.

• Take out your own classified for your shop, and put a direct teleport and information about your shop in your picks.
• Once a week you are allowed to notice your new products and upcoming sales events through the group.
• The ability to use our facilities at Nevermore Speakeasy, Nevemore Pavillion, or L’Quen Oreben Park at no charge for your events and parties, provided there is not an event scheduled at the time you would like to schedule yours.

  Please contact a member of our staff to reserve a time. After time is scheduled, please feel free to event it, and give us a copy of the notecard to share with the rest of the group if you wish. We will also include it on the L’Quen Oreben events calendar if you would like it to be a public event.
